My name is Torben Riis Jensen. I’m a 34-year-old Dane who lives in Marietta, north of Atlanta, Georgia, USA. I serve on staff with Grace Ministries International (GMI) in Marietta where I work as a discipleship counselor, a discipleship training leader in our Encounters, and as a teacher in our Grace Life Conferences. I also have the privilege of teaching in different international settings. 2011 took me to Nigeria, South Korea and the Philippines in this capacity.
At heart I’m a discipleship trainer. I used to live in Ukraine’s capital city, Kiev, where I worked as a leader of discipleship training schools with Youth With A Mission there. I love discipleship training, teaching about identity in Christ, discipleship, and godly relationships, etc. I enjoy many books such as The Rest of the Gospel, The Return of the Prodigal Son, What’s So Amazing About Grace, and loads more. I also enjoy music by Aaron Keyes, Keith Green, Rich Mullins and Enter The Worship Circle. I love sports especially football (soccer that is) which I both play and watch with great passion, and I love to spend time with my beautiful wife, Jeannette (you can check out her Etsy store with homemade knitted animals and toys here)
Have a good time reading my thoughts, revelations from God that I want to share, and fun stuff here and enjoy the different videos. You are very welcome to post comments to my blog entries whether you agree or disagree.

Heya, I was just wondering where you and Jeannette landed and googled your name. Ended up in this weblog. It is wonderful to read that you did follow your dreams! WOW! God is an artist and it is wonderful when we can follow in his footsteps instead of walking in peoples expectations! Gods blessing in all you guys do!

Hello Torben,
It’s nice to come across your blog on accident. Your words are very encouraging. I am a former YWAMer. I am headed to Copenhagen this summer. Do you have any recommendations for a spirit-filled, missions-minded church in Copenhagen? Thanks in advance.
Hello Antonnette! Great to hear from you! I’m glad you felt encouraged reading my blog. So you’re moving to Copenhagen, I see. What will you be doing there? It’s been a while since I lived there, but this would be a church that I would probably give a go when you go there: http://byensvalgmenighed.dk/index.php?id=61 Blessings, Torben
